Now he is a part of the coaching staff at FK Miercurea Ciuc, in children and youth department. In the summer of 2015 Robert took over the group from 2001 to 2002, which will come in August to 2015th edition of Brasov Cup. "From what I saw on the site, the tournament it will be a fantastic one and we are looking forward to participate. For us it will be a very good experience because, apart from AFC Odorhei, we don’t have a worthy adversary in Harghita. I took this group, 2001-2002, only this summer so our goal is to accumulate experience at Brasov Cup and to see who we can rely on in the next edition of the national championship. For me it is a great pleasure to be back in Brasov, a city so dear to me. I’m coming with great happines to Brasov, because I know that I was loved so long and it feels like home. Few players have enjoyed such afection from Brasov fans as I and I can say I take pride in that. It remains to see you in August", said Robert Ilyes.
